**Khushiyon Ka Post Box** is an initiative dedicated to reducing waste while spreading happiness and dignity among underserved communities. India generates nearly 8 million tonnes of textile waste annually, accounting for approximately 8.5% of global textile waste. A significant portion of post-consumer textile waste ends up in landfills, contributing heavily to environmental degradation. Discarded books and footwear further add to the growing burden of dry municipal solid waste.
Through collection drives conducted in Kanpur, Prayagraj, and Delhi, we gather usable clothes, books, footwear, and other essential items. These donations are carefully sorted and redistributed to residents of slum communities, old-age homes, night shelters (rain baseras), and other vulnerable groups.
By diverting textiles, books, and footwear from landfills, *Khushiyon Ka Post Box* not only helps reduce environmental waste but also brings comfort, opportunity, and joy to thousands of lives. The initiative reflects our commitment to promoting sustainability, responsible consumption, and social inclusion while creating a positive impact on both people and the planet.
