Four years ago, we started with 3,000 earthen lamps (diya) made by inmates in Kanpur Jail, Mati Jail, Hamirpur jail etc. This year, we’ve reached a total of 30,000 lamps, creating massive employment and skills for prisoners.
Impact Summary
• Generated livelihoods through rakhi, diyas, jute bags, bandhanwars, masalas, papads, and envelopes.
• Empowered women inmates via Subhashini Shivhare Foundation’s prison reform programs.
• Scaled production 10x, proving sustainable rehabilitation works.
